Where garden, family tradition, and edible theatre meet.

Feast with Fiore was born from a lifelong love of food as connection, celebration, and care. Rooted in multi-generational hospitality and a deep respect for seasonal, garden-fresh ingredients, we create immersive experiences where flowers and flavors tell meaningful stories.

Melissa’s Journey

Food has always been Melissa’s first language. Her grandmother was a professional baker who taught her to pick ingredients straight from the garden and cook with nothing but fresh, seasonal produce. Everyone was welcome at the table, and everyone had to eat.

At just 11 years old, Melissa began working in her aunt’s catering business and restaurant in Sierra Madre and Pasadena. She continued in hospitality through high school at Crocodile Cafe (with its own organic farm), ran her own farmer’s market, and has never stopped growing, cooking, and creating. Today, much of what she serves comes from her own garden in South Pasadena — herbs, edible flowers, seasonal fruits like peaches, and more — all prepared from scratch, including her house-made sourdough and focaccia.

Our Philosophy

At Feast with Fiore, we believe food should be more than sustenance — it should be theatre, ritual, and connection. We weave edible florals and garden-grown ingredients into every plate and tablescape, paying close attention to ambience, intention, and the rhythm of the gathering. Whether crafting an intimate private chef dinner, a stunning graze table, or a tender celebration of life, every detail is designed to create lasting memories.

Our Family

Melissa is joined by her husband Jerry, who serves as sous chef for Feast with Fiore and crafts beautiful wooden tables and serve ware available for events. Together, they also own and operate Wild & Tame, a Los Angeles garden design and plant styling company specializing in native plant gardens, pollinator-friendly landscapes, edible gardens, and thoughtful indoor/outdoor plant styling.
